The Supply Of Point Of Care Testing (Poct) For NHS Health Checks Delivered In GP Surgeries In Medway

<p>Medway Council Public Health team are seeking a provider of point of care testing (POCT) devices to GP surgeries who are engaged with the NHS Health Check programme in Medway. The proposed solution must include: &bull; 54 POCT devices to be supplied to GP Practices (number includes branch sites) &bull; Devices to provide total cholesterol (TC) and TC/HLD ratio readings, as a minimum &bull; Initial distribution/delivery of devices within agreed timescales &bull; Initial delivery to include the required consumables for at least 20 tests &bull; Initial training on use of the device to be provided to practice staff within agreed timescales &bull; Provision of manufacturer&rsquo;s instructions for use and guidance on maintaining the machine &bull; On-going technical support for the duration of the contract &bull; On-going training support for the duration of the contract &bull; Clear process for accessing technical and training support (e.g. service desk, telephone number, email address) &bull; Processes for re-ordering of consumables &bull; Internal quality control checks, to include a minimum of a daily &lsquo;go, no go&rsquo; test &bull; IQC record keeping/log sheets provided &bull; All 54 devices to be registered with an External Quality Assurance Scheme Out of Scope &bull; Blood glucose/ HbA1c testing &bull; Record keeping</p>
