Main contract details
<p>The Council wish to appoint a single provider to undertake General Building Repairs,<br>Responsive Maintenance and Minor Building Works for works up to the maximum value of<br>£150,000 under an MTC using the JCT MTC 2016 Form of Contract with an estimated value of approximately £3,5000,000 per annum.</p>
<p>The works envisaged to be included are made up of building fabric repairs and<br>responsive maintenance and M&E repairs. The scope also provides for minor works, inclusive<br>of building fabric and M&E works, programmes up to a works value band, set at £150,000,<br>for non-housing properties.</p>
<p>The purpose of this Notice is to carry out market testing on the proposed contract and<br>to alert the market to this opportunity.</p>
<p>The intention of this initial engagement phase is to help inform the Council’s options and<br>further decision making. The Council reserves the right to hold one to one meetings with providers following the submission of a questionnaire to clarify responses.</p>
<p>Interested providers are invited to complete a Soft Market Test (SMT) Questionnaire and<br>upload it to www.londontenders.org by no later than 13:00 hours on 14 March 2023.</p>
<p>Pricing to be based on National Schedule of Rates. Contract duration to be 2 years with 2<br>possible extension of 2 years each. With the extensions, the maximum possible contract<br>duration is 6 years.</p>
<p>For the avoidance of doubt, this Notice is intended as an awareness/information gathering<br>exercise only and is not a call for competition, is not a pre-qualification process and is not the<br>start of a formal procurement exercise. Participation or non-participation in this pre-procurement<br>market engagement/discovery exercise shall not prevent any potential provider participating<br>in, nor shall it place any potential provider at an advantage in any future procurement<br>opportunity. Any future procurement opportunity could be published this year (2023).<br>However, this timeframe is indicative only and the Council reserves the right to reschedule<br>any forthcoming publication at any time.</p>
<p>All costs, expenses and liabilities incurred by any providers in connection with the<br>preparation and/or submission of a response and / or in discussion with the Council shall be<br>borne by that provider.</p>
