Invitation to tender for the provision of Passenger Lift Modernisation 2016-17 to various properties with the Borough of Swindon.

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to undertake passenger lift modernisations to various properties with Borough of Swindon.

Project Description

The contractor will be required to undertake works such as:

• Refurbishment of lift cars as necessary

• Replacement/upgrade of electrics as required

• Replacement of motor room equipment as required

• Remedial works as required.

Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.

Contract Period

The contract will be initially for a period of 12 months commencing 1st November 2016 subject to satisfactory performance and budget availability.

Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 6th August 2016, 12.00GMT by hardcopy to Barry Howard only.
