Fleet Town Council has commissioned Rushmoor Borough Council to procure the new Fleet Town Council Grounds Maintenance Services Contract. Documents available on the South East Business Portal. Please contact Katherine.booker@rushmoor.gov.uk. if required.

Bidders are invited to a Bidders Day at Fleet Town Council on December 5th 20017. Please read the documentation for further detail.

The primary aim of this procurement exercise is to renew / replace the current contractual arrangements for grounds maintenance services, but there are complementary aims which are: -

• To provide efficient, safe and effective grounds maintenance services that residents and visitors can enjoy;
• To maintain or improve residents’ satisfaction;
• To at least maintain, and where economic to do so to improve, grounds maintenance standards; and
• Where affordable to strive for innovation and added value.

Fleet is a town in the county of Hampshire located 37 miles south west of London. The Council has been in existence since 2010. The Town Council is responsible for the maintenance of:

• Two community centres – Ancell’s Farm and The Harlington
• Five parks and their associated playgrounds - Ancells Farm Park, Calthorpe Park, Basingbourne Park, Oakley Park and The Views Park, as well as the two playgrounds in Edenbrook
• Fleet Cemetery
• Various footpaths and other public areas in Fleet
• Calthorpe Park Tennis Courts
