Description
<p>East Leake Parish Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of works in respect of two (potentially separate) phases of work at East Leake Playing fields, Costock Road; PHASE ONE - Demolition of the existing clubhouse and then construction of a new clubhouse and PHASE TWO - the refurbishment of the existing sports building.</p>

<p>Please note that this procurement exercise is subject to approval of funding, therefore the Council reserves the right to only award one phase of this tender. The Council also reserves the right to award both phases, but delay the commencement date of phase two, subject to the approval of funding.</p>

<p>Please read the schedule of works and specification carefully as this clearly sets out under each works element what is Phase One and what is Phase Two.</p>

<p>The deadline for completed tender submissions to be received on the eTendering Portal is 12:00 noon on 24<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;March 2021.</p>

<p>The Contract is due to commence on 1<sup>st</sup> September 2021.</p>

<p>PLEASE NOTE: Bidders are required to make arrangements to undertake a supervised site visit to East Leake Playing Fields, Costock Road, East Leake, Loughborough, LE12 6LY. Attendance at a site visit is mandatory as part of this procurement process. The Council reserves the right to eliminate bids from the procurement process (without evaluation), that are received from any bidder that has not attended a site visit. Site visits must be arranged through the messaging function of the project on ProContract. The deadline for submitting a request for attending a site visit is 10th March 2021.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Council would like to remind bidders to observe social distancing requirements when undertaking site visits. There is a maximum time limit for each site visit of 1 hour, and bidders must only bring a maximum of one representative from their organisation to the site visit. There are to be no clarification questions asked as part of a site visit; all clarifications must be sent in accordance with Document One.</p>
