Description
Subject: - 12 months SIMS support & training to cover maternity leave (From 1st August 2019)
Statements of interest are requested via The Chest, from organisations who are interested in SIMS support and Training to cover maternity leave.
To provide complete SIMS support to: -
48 x Primary Maintained
1 x Primary Academy
3 x Secondary Maintained
2 x Secondary Academy
1 x Special Maintained
1 x Nursery Maintained
2 x PRU Maintained – 2 SIMS databases on 1 server
Expectation
Hour of service – 0800 – 1700 Monday – Friday (except bank holidays)
St Helens Council will provide an initial call logging, and the call is then logged with your service desk. You are expected to resolve the issues for the schools within the agreed SLA with the council. (Response and Fix time to be discussed)
You are expected to review of your service desk data with the council on a monthly basis.
You are expected to support all SIMS related issues. (Remote, telephone or On-site)
You are expected to provide advice and guidance on the use of SIMS system and software.
Any ICT network / infrastructure related issues are managed by the council.
Install / update / upgrade of any SIMS software is managed by the council.
The backup / restore of the SIMS database is managed by the council.
You are expected to provide support / advice to schools during exam, censes period etc.
Monthly rolling contract if possible
Expression of Interests shall include no more than three sides of A4 giving all the required information:

**Are you able to provide an indicative cost for the support element**
Additional Services
Can you please provide the following: -
1. Daily rate for onsite consultancy / training
2. Half day rate for onsite consultancy / training
Once Expressions have been received the Council will consider the most appropriate form of further competition, with our clients, to inform our potential specification and route to market.
Please register you interest, by returning your Statement of Interest as described above via The Chest before the closing date of Wednesday 8th May 2019 @ 12:00 hours
