Title
Melksham House Cricket Pavilion
Categories
45212000-6 - Construction work for buildings relating to leisure, sports, culture, lodging and restaurants
45212221-1 - Construction work in connection with structures for sports ground
Description
Wiltshire Council has a requirement to re-provide the changing and storage facilities on a like-for-like basis with a more robust masonry building located on the same site as the old structure following a fire in early June 2016 which severely damaged the pavilion. The surviving structure was unsafe and has now been demolished and the site cleared. Access to the building and its relationship to the pitch on the west side and the footpath on the east side will remain unchanged. Existing services provision (electricity, water, foul drainage, etc.) will be reconnected to serve the new facility.

To satisfy this need we are seeking tenders from suitable suppliers. The Council is utilising an electronic procurement tool to manage this procurement and communicate with bidders. There will be no hard copy documents issued to bidders and all communications with the Council including the submission of responses will be conducted via the South West Portal.

The suite of documents comprising this tender pack are as follows:

Volume 1 Tender Details Including Quality Questionnaire (this document)
Volume 2 Preliminaries & Contract Details
Volume 3 Tender Design Details (Drawings, Schedules & Specifications)
Volume 4 Not used
Volume 5 Pricing Document (Bill of Quantities)

As part of the tender submission, there is a requirement for prospective tenderers to complete and return a questionnaire, details of which are included in this document. Unless specifically requested to supply copies of documents, please insert your answers in the space provided following each question (the text box will expand as required). All enclosures and supporting documents should be clearly marked with the sections and questions to which they relate. All questions anticipating enclosures are marked with an asterisk.

Please do not include general marketing or promotional material from your Organisation as answers to any of the questions unless specifically requested to do so.

Your Quotation will remain open for 90 days from the submission date. The Council reserve the right to award the contract at such or at a later date, or not at all.

Failure to comply with these instructions will result in the quotation being disqualified
