Description
The current contracts for the Council’s Care at Home Services come to an end on 24 October 2025. As part of the process of undertaking a procurement exercise to select providers for the next contract the Council’s Community Commissioning Team is running a 6-week consultation process running from Monday 04 November to Sunday 15 December 2024.

We are writing to all Care at Home customers asking them (along with family and friends) to complete a survey and offering the opportunity to attend consultation sessions. The same survey will be open to Providers along with other stakeholders including Social Workers, and any other interested parties.

In addition to this the Council will also be running two separate consultation sessions for Providers, Social Workers, and partner agencies.

The first will be an in-person session which will take place at Fusiliers Museum, Moss Street, Bury, BL9 0DF on Tuesday 26 November 2024 from 10.00am to 11:30am. Please note that this session will have limited capacity so please contact the Community Commissioning Team either by telephone on 0161 253 6307 or by email on CommunityCommissioning@bury.gov.uk .

Please note that we are anticipating this to be a popular event, so places will be limited to one person per organisation.

The second session will an online session on Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 03 December 2024 which will run between 2.00pm until 3:30pm. Interested providers are again asked to contact the Community Commissioning Team either by telephone on 0161 253 6307 or by email on CommunityCommissioning@bury.gov.uk with a relevant contact email address and we will issue you with an invitation.

We look forward to receiving your feedback and having discussions with you during the consultation sessions.
