Liverpool City Council is seeking to engage with the market to gain an insight into whether there is both the appetite and ability to provide the required services, in light of the current global climate.

Overview

Liverpool City Council (LCC) are in the process of preparing for a time when family and friends can come together and immerse themselves in joy and social gatherings once again.

As such the team at Culture Liverpool are currently reviewing their strategy with regards to delivering a Christmas Market offering for 2020, at one of Liverpool City Centres cultural hot spots St Georges Hall Plateau.

The aspiration is to have a Chalet based event or activity that would run from the 19th November until the 23rd December 2020

To help define and develop the Christmas Market delivery Liverpool City Council would like to engage with a single supplier / operator from the Events Industry, who is able to procure, manage and deliver all aspects of the event.

LCC would act as a stakeholder rather than an organiser. LCC Culture would however ensure through a rigorous tender evaluation, that the Operator was fit for purpose and able to provide such an undertaking.

The successful operator would be tendering for an enhanced offer on previous years and would have the financial and operational risk of the delivery as well as be responsible for all aspects of the daily management and licensing requirements.

The aim of this questionnaire is to understand what the market can offer as well as gauging market interest in this opportunity.
