Event Electrician & Power, Southport Events 2016,2017 and 2018.

Sefton Council is looking for a suitable electrician to work at the Southport Food and Drink Festival, the Southport Air show and The British Musical Fireworks Championships.

Sefton Council’s Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Food and Drink Festival, the Southport Air show and The British Musical Fireworks Championships. They are hugely popular events that are well attended.


Specification




• Southport Food and Drink Festival to be held 3rd to 5th June 2016


Using existing power in Victoria Park, Southport contractor must provide all cabling, power distribution and 13 amp sockets for approximately 40 market stalls plus cabling and power distribution for approximately 50 independent units. Contractor must be flexible as ad hoc power will be required.
Price to include all staffing for 3 days of the event 8 am – 7pm plus set up day before
(2nd June).


• The Southport Air Show to be held 9th,10th & 11th September 2016


Contractor must provide a range of temporary generators plus cabling and power distribution on the Southport Seafront for PA, site office, marquees, air traffic control unit and toilets plus a fuel bowser. An onsite lighting plan is needed for this event – site visit needed, solutions requested. Contractor must also provide a clean water IBC and plumbing for onsite sink unit. Contractor must be flexible as ad hoc power will be required. Price to include all staffing for 3 days of the event 7.00 am –6pm (9pm Friday 9th) plus set up day before (8th September). Subject to site visit.




• The British Musical Fireworks Championship to be held 30th September, 1st & 2nd October 2016.


Using existing power in Victoria Park, Southport contractor must provide all cabling and power
distribution for PA, Box offices and site office plus provide festoon lighting (please advise)
and additional site lighting including approximately 20 tower lights (please advise) on Princes Park, Southport. Contractor must be flexible as ad hoc power will be required. Price
to include all staffing for 3 days of the event 4.00pm – 10.00 pm plus set up day before
(29th September). Subject to site visit.
