North Tyneside Council (the Authority) is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for housing repairs and maintenance who will deliver a range of service to supplement the internal workforce.
The Authority have opted to establish a DPS as it is deemed the most appropriate option t...y/all Lot(s) within the DPS at any time during the life of the DPS to ensure that it remains onsistently effective and efficient.
Documentation to access the DPS are available to organisations immediately after they have registered their interest in this DPS via this electronic Tendering Portal.

North Tyneside Council (the Authority) is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for housing repairs and maintenance who will deliver a range of service to supplement the internal workforce.
The Authority have opted to establish a DPS as it is deemed the most appropriate option to meet its requirements and will enable a clear, consistent and compliant route to market.
The DPS will be open to new entrants throughout its lifespan to allow coverage for ever changing requirements, including but not limited to new regulations and central government requirements.
The Authority may procure works under this DPS in a variety of ways including bot not limited to, individual/single works, or a block of works over a specific period.
The DPS is divided into the following High Level Lots based on the specific categories of repairs to be provided:-
Lot 1 - Aerials/Sky Dish
Aerial removal and replacement to scaffold erection (24hr response)
Lot 2 - Brickwork Contractors
Grinding out and re-pointing brickwork, and minor brickwork such as small garden walling
Lot 3 - Cavity Wall Insulation / Extraction
Removal of wet blown insulation, loft insulation upgrades and renewals, insulation surveys
Lot 4 - Ceiling/partition wall contractors
Large plastering works ceilings and walls
Lot 5 – Cleaning
Cleaning to empty homes including; sparkle cleans, needle sweeps, and contaminated waste cleaning
Lot 6 - Drainage Surveys
Proving drainage surveys and works, including camera surveys, unblocking, re-linings, and no dig technology
Lot 7 - Electrical Contractors
Minor repairs and various one off rewires and upgrades, and installing fire alarms
Lot 8 - Electronic Security Contractor
Installing door entry systems, and communal access doors
Lot 9 - Fencing Contractors
General one off fencing repairs and replacements including timber gates
Lot 10 - Flooring Contractors
One off, non-slip vinyl flooring & tiles to tenanted and empty homes
Lot 11 - General Building Contractors
General building works joinery, plastering, plumbing & electrical within our empty homes
Lot 12 - Glazier Contractors
Regalzing and renewing putty to windows and doors
Lot 13 - Groundwork Contractor
Providing field drains and general groundworks
Lot 14 - Gutter Cleaning
Gutter cleaning to two, three and four storeys properties
Lot 15 - Joinery Contractors
General Joinery repairs and replacement including restoring flooring damaged from woodworm, and structural roofing works
Lot 16 - Joinery Manufacturers
Manufacturing timber gates, FLB doors, batten doors, timber steps, and handrail components
Lot 17 - Landscape Engineers
Various surveys including topographical and desktop surveys.
Lot 18 – Landscapers
General landscaping, and contaminated land clearances
Lot 19 – Locksmith
Proving specialist locks, and keys cut for communal areas/blocks
Lot 20 - Multi- trade
Various building trades for general repairs and maintenance, and empty homes
Lot 21 - Painting Contractors
General one off, rendering painting, external, and internal painting to tenanted and empty homes
Lot 22 - Plastering Contractors
Patch repairs and Boarding and plaster skim works s for general repairs and maintenance, and empty homes
Lot 23 - Plumbing Contractors
Minor one off plumbing works, for general repairs and maintenance, and empty homes
Lot 24 - Roofing Contractors
Minor one off roofing works, for general repairs and maintenance, and empty homes
Lot 25 - Security Contractors
Providing metal screens, herras fencing, void property house alarms and CCTV when requested
Lot 26 - Tiling Contractors
Minor one off ceramic wall and floor tiling to tenanted and empty homes
The Authority reserves the right to review and update the structure and content of any/all Lot(s) within the DPS at any time during the life of the DPS to ensure that it remains onsistently effective and efficient.
