Medway Council, on behalf of the Commissioners would like to invite providers to attend a Market Event. The purpose of the Market Event is to allow Providers to network and discuss their capabilities and ideas to other attendees (as well as the Commissioners) providing a brief update to the proposed service model being considered and the anticipated procurement timetable and process.

The event details are as follows:
Time: 10am - 1pm
Date: Tuesday 24th April 2018
Venue: Civic Suite - Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham ME4 4TR

The proposed service model being considered is:

Lot 1 - Semi-independent Group Living: Service offering group living environment and communal areas, with staff on site 24/7 who can deliver bespoke programmes of support, based on individual need.
Lot 2 - Floating Support with Accommodation: Community based accommodation services sourced within the private rental market and supported by one to one or group floating support, at varying levels as identified in the individual’s Support Plan.
Lot 3 - Floating Support: Community based services providing floating support at varying levels as identified in the individual’s Support Plan, to enable young people to live in their chosen accommodation and with the aim of supporting the young person successfully through to independence.

Commissioning and Procurement staff will be present at the event to answer any questions and these will be recorded and published, as at a presented-market engagement event. We will also be giving a brief presentation updating the market regarding the anticipated timeline and process.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide lunch, however there is a café onsite. Please note that there is no parking facilities available at Gun Wharf, however there are several public pay & display car parks in Chatham within a short walking distance of Gun Wharf. The nearest public car parks are: Riverside Car Park (Dock Road, Chatham, Kent. ME4 4SL) or The Town Hall Car Park (Whiffens Avenue, Chatham, Kent ME4 4SF)
