Trauma Awareness Training

<p>The Council invites quotations for the design and provision of a Trauma Training programme Training programme development &bull; Develop a bespoke trauma informed training module for Croydon Council in line with this specification and Croydon&rsquo;s trauma informed training guide, which will be the property of the Council following the completion of the programme The training should cover: &bull; Understanding the impact of single and complex trauma &bull; Understanding prevalence and over-representation in some services and communities &bull; Recognising adversity risks and harm &bull; Responding to hearing about abuse and trauma &bull; Spotting signs of current or ongoing trauma and understand risks of re-traumatisation &bull; Understanding that people affected by trauma can build own strengths and resources &bull; Recognising and responding to individual needs &bull; Understanding that people affected by past trauma commonly have interpersonal difficulties &bull; Understanding the importance and role of a trusted adult for children &bull; Understanding the different types of support available in the Borough of Croydon</p>
