SOG-HSC-RFQ-Occupational Physician Service Contract

The States of Guernsey employs 5,000 staff, across all committees, who provide a wide range of services. The Health and Social committee support the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Castel Hospital, the Community teams and the Mignot Hospital in Alderney. The Occupational Health Service is staffed by the OH Manager, two OH Advisors and OH Clinic Nurse. The clinical team is supported by administrative staff. The team provide an occupational health service accessible by service users from all areas of the States.
To ensure the service provided is effective it is essential we have dedicated physician(s) service which can meet our service user’s and service continuity needs.

We are seeking a maximum of two suppliers who can provide dedicated professional Physician(s) with the ability and knowledge to support the needs of our service, and the sensitive they encompass.

The supplier will demonstrate their experience in occupational medicine, in particular evidence of current working in the NHS, knowledge of NHS specific Occupational Health issues, along with provision of evidence of recent CPD.

The opportunity is available as LOTS:
LOT1 – 2 x 2 Day Per calendar month (2 x 2 PA Session ); a minimum of 25 working days between scheduled days.
LOT2 – 2 x 2 Consecutive Days calendar month (2 x 2PA sessions); a minimum of 20 working days between scheduled days.

We will evaluate the quotes and award based on the most economical and advantageous offer.
