Description
NHS England (London Region) would like to invite providers to attend a Market Engagement Event to allow the market with an opportunity to provide detailed and meaningful feedback to inform NHS England’s approach to re-commissioning the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening Programme(s) in London and certain parts of East Surrey (East Surrey CCG and Surrey Downs CCG areas).
With the current contracts coming to an end it is necessary to re-commission this service. Public Health Section 7a Commissioning Intention supports the ambitions to improve health outcomes, tackle inequalities and secure best value for money. It is with these intentions that the AAA Screening Programmes in the above geographies will be re-procured.
The AAA Screening Programme (AAASP) aims to reduce AAA related mortality by providing a systematic population-based screening for the male population during their 65th year and, on request, for men over 65.
The Market Engagement Event will take place from 9.30-12.30pm on Thursday 5th May 2016 at: London Councils, 59½ Southwark Street, London SE1 OAL.
Places are restricted so attendees are limited to no more than 3 persons per organisation. NHS England would advise that organisations wishing to take part should bring attendees from a selection of disciplines to gain the most benefit from this event (including disciplines such as clinical, management and contracting). The opportunity will be open to the entire market.
To reserve your place(s) please complete the attendee registration form available on the Market Engagement Stage section on the portal and submit a completed form via the ProContract portal messaging facility.
Registration forms must be completed and sent before 16.00 on 4th May 2016.

Once you have Registered your Interest (the button should turn grey) you must navigate tour "My Activities" page on the portal using the toolbars at the top of the screen. Once on the My Activities page, use the search criteria at the side of the page to select NEL CSU (North and East London CSU) form the "Organisation" box. Then click update. The project should now appear on the screen for you to access accordingly.
