<p>Devon County Council Public Health Team currently commission an integrated healthy lifestyle service to support adults with lifestyle behaviour change. The Public Health team is commencing pre-market engagement activity.<br><br>We are looking for an organisation, or series of organisations, to work with us to improve the health and well-being of people in Devon. Taking action on the biggest preventable risk factors for ill health and premature death including tobacco, obesity, alcohol, and physical inactivity, will have major positive impacts on people's health and wellbeing and improve overall health outcomes for Devon. Through building networks of support and supporting community resilience, we want to work collaboratively to address the wider determinants of health focussing most on those areas and groups where the poorest health outcomes are experienced.<br><br>We will be hosting a market warming event later in the year to formally engage with providers and stakeholders. The event will take place on 9th February 9.30am - 12.00pm. The event will be hybrid style, and welcome interested providers to attend either in person or virtually through Microsoft Teams.<br><br>Aims of the event:<br>• Share feedback from engagement activities<br>• Give an overview of the service specification expectations<br>• Share procurement steps<br><br>The scope of the service we would like to commission has been revised.
