Description

007392 – Targeted Youth Provision Stakeholder Engagement Events – 23/24 November 2020 Children and Families Newcastle (CFN) is looking to re-imagine its approach to early intervention and prevention and its community offer to children, young people and families, and Newcastle City Council’s Targeted Youth Provision will be an important function in the overall offer. The Targeted Youth Provision is for 13-19 year olds (up to 25 for young people with SEND), and the current offer is being reviewed due to the changing landscape in youth work and the impact of Covid-19. We would like to hear your views on how the voice of the youth sector is heard within the work of CFN and what a new Targeted Youth Provision might look like. As part of the engagement, we will also explore how we can secure wider social value benefits as part of this commissioning process. This is in line with our Social Value Commitment covering: thinking, buying and supporting Newcastle; ensuring community focus; showing ethical leadership; and being green and sustainable. How do I participate? In light of the restrictions due to Covid-19, we will be engaging with the market via virtual events and a survey. The engagement period will be 23 November – 8 December 2020. If you are interested in hearing more about this work and would like to contribute to the future service design, our Stakeholder Engagement Events will be held on: 23 November 11am – 1.00pm 24 November 11am – 1.00pm Please express your interest here and a Teams meeting invitation will follow.
