HAVE YOUR SAY ABOUT HOW DRUG AND ALCOHOL SERVICES SHOULD BE DELIVERED IN FUTURE

The Council is responsible for the provision of drug and alcohol services for the people of City of Wolverhampton. We would like to engage with you to find out your views on current services and what we should change for the future.

Key Objectives

The Council’s Public Health Commissioners are reviewing current drug and alcohol services and are working towards having a revised drug and alcohol service in place at the start of April 2017.

We are keen to involve key stakeholders, including current and potential stakeholders in this engagement exercise so that we can ensure that the new service model takes into account their views and meets local needs.

If you or your organisation is interested and in a position to develop these services then we would encourage you to attend the workshop.

Who should attend?

Individuals who currently use substance misuse treatment services or those in recovery, carers, family or friends, providers of treatment or support, mutual aid groups (i.e. fellowship or SMART recovery), partners and key stakeholders who are interested in learning more about the treatment and recovery opportunities in Wolverhampton and contributing their feedback and ideas around its development. Please circulate this information to your networks of any other interested parties.

We expect demand to be high for attendance at the event, places may be limited to two per organisation depending on demand. Please register using eventbrite on the link below by Wednesday 19th April. We will confirm if you have a place at the workshop in due course. A light lunch will be provided; you will be asked about any dietary requirements upon registration.
