Q025 Safety Camera Digitisation Upgrade 2016 A666 St Peters Way
Main contract details
The Provider shall be responsible for the full project management, co-ordination, design and development of the average speed camera upgrade in accordance with the specification; this shall also extend to the maintenance of system during the warranty period.
In summary the Contractor shall supply and install all required cameras and equipment as specified. A typical average speed fixed site environment may include, but not be limited to the following:
1.Installation of a digital average speed detection camera system at fixed locations in modified or newly supplied housings or existing structures that are compatible and Home Office Type Approved.
2.Civil works for installation of camera poles, cabinets, ducting and poles.
3.Power provision to cameras and camera poles.
4.Transmission of data where appropriate.
5.Transmission of processed data from fixed speed site locations directly to the in-station servers via the Public Switched Telephone Network on ADSL Internet or Mobile Telephony Data Services, 3G.
6.Interface with the GMP Central Ticket Office equipment solution (Stardome) including the export in a single, self-contained file of the record that is Home Office Approved.
7.Specification, provision, implementation and testing of all hardware, software and data networks that is to be provided by the Contractor.
8.Provision of documentation.
9.Commissioning and testing.
10.Maintenance under the warranty period.
11.Any other works necessary to meet the requirements of the individual specifications.
12.Removal of existing safety camera equipment and making good.
