Torbay Council, in agreement with the Qualifying Bodies (Torquay Neighbourhood Forum, Paignton Neighbourhood Forum, Brixham Peninsula Neighbourhood Forum), is seeking to procure independent examiners to undertake the examination of each of the submitted Neighbourhood Plans.
Neighbourhood Forums were first designated in 2012, and were re-designated by full Council on 7 December 2017. This is a unique situation, with 100% land coverage of Torbay Unitary Authority across three Neighbourhood Areas with a total population in excess of 130,000 to be examined simultaneously. Each of the Neighbourhood Plans propose land-use allocations/designations. To access the editable versions of the Tender documents you need to be registered as a supplier on this portal and within the Respond area of the opportunity.
