Description
Swindon Borough Council would like to invite suppliers to participate in a Soft Market Test exercise. We are looking to establish a suitable service contract to maintain an oil separator tank in one of our Borough car parks and potentially to provide a similar service to one of our vehicle wash establishments for Borough refuse collection vehicles for example.

The supplier must employ only suitably trained personnel, the services required include
Draining and disposal of the residual oil or waste substance
Uplift of a tank base and removal of waste or sludge using vacuum tankers
Flush out of pipework and interceptors
Manual cleaning of tanks using confined space trained operatives. **ONLY companies who have staff who employ fully trained confined space operatives should express interest in this opportunity. They will also be asked to provide evidence of this certification and training.**

This is NOT a request for quotation. Following this soft market test it is our intention to invite suitable organisations to tender for a contract. Replies should be submitted through the South West Portal by Monday 25th January 2015.
