****PRELIMINARY MARKET ENGAGEMENT****

The Council is seeking to engage with partners and organisations to gather information and explore potential models for Children and Young People Social Prescribing and Youth Outreach Mental Health Services to to strengthen mental health support for children and young people across Derbyshire.

The deadline for completion and submission of the questionnaire is 17:00pm on Friday 27 February 2026.

We anticipate to start engagement with children and young people in March 2026 and further engagement with the market and communities in May 2026, and tenders for this service would be sought in July 2026, to enable a new contract to begin on 01 April 2027.

We are seeking to engage with organisations to gather information and explore potential solutions for this service.

DCC will be open to bids from consortia with a lead provider or sole providers who can demonstrate how they would deliver the contract across the county footprint (excluding Derby City).

The contract length currently under consideration will be for an initial 3 years from 01 April 2027, with the option to extend for further 2 periods of twelve months (+1+1). The funding for the model is allocated in the region £1.3 million per annum. This will be finalised ahead of any procurement.
