Description
Gloucestershire County Council is looking to hold meetings with suppliers between 3rd and 10th August 2016, to help to inform the delivery of our future contracts for the maintenance and provision of Traffic Signals across Gloucestershire, and its partners.

It is planned that a subsequent procurement will take place in January 2017, with a contract start by October 2017. GCC currently spend £300k per annum on the maintenance of its Traffic Signals, through a bespoke contract.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide the opportunity for all interested suppliers to engage through a common format with the GCC Network & Traffic team. The format of the meeting is available as an attachment to this message and will be sent again when you register your interest. The event will provide a suitable forum to gather feedback and ideas from the market and allow us to help shape a deliverable procurement. Suppliers are welcomed from across the Industry, SME's as well as larger National suppliers.

Up to 3 individuals will be able to attend on behalf of your organisation. The meeting will be held at Shire Hall, GL1 2TG between 3rd and 10th August 2016 for approximately 2 hours. Meeting slots are available at 10am and 2pm. Meeting times will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If for some reason you are unable to attend on any of the available dates then you are more than welcome to provide feedback electronically.

To register your interest to participate in the soft market test exercise please register for free on the Council’s electronic tendering portal www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk

Once registered please search for Traffic Signals Gloucestershire in the portal and follow the instructions to register your interest and book a meeting slot by 31st July 2016.

This notice relates to a market engagement exercise only and is not a call for competition.
