Main contract details
Leicestershire. Corporate Property and Assets has a portfolio consisting of office blocks,
community centres, industrial units and commercial properties.
MBC’s is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to deliver a programme of compliance
testing and maintenance works to its Corporate Estate within the Borough covering a
breadth of trades over an agreed programme period to locations within the local authority
geographical area for a 2-year term (with the option to extend by a further 1-year, subject to
review and satisfactory performance in accordance with the Council’s business
requirements). The proposed contract will be based upon a pre-determined basket of rates
submitted by the Tendering Contractor and agreed with MBC. In addition to this version 8.0
of the M3NHF Schedule of Rates will be used for other elements.
For the duration of the contract MBC require the contractor to undertake all necessary
maintenance and servicing works to installations and equipment to ensure MBC remain
compliant with the relevant codes regulations and standards.
The form of contract will be the JCT Measured Term Contract 2024 with Amendments and
will be executed under the common seal of the Council.

The anticipated contract commencement date is 1st June 2026.
The contract value is estimated at £41,000 per annum excluding VAT. Please note: the
Council reserves the right to reject any submissions that are over budget without further
evaluation.
