We are currently working on a refresh of Warrington’s Market Position Statement (MPS). The Market Position Statement is part of a five-year strategy and provides information for care providers to inform their business and service development plans.

The document is currently in draft and we would very much welcome Provider’s views and thoughts on this draft Market Position Statement.

Event Details
We are holding two consultation events, one focused on the market for Older People’s services (65+) and one for the market for Adults with Complex Needs (18-64):

Older People (65+) Event
Thursday 13th June, 1:00 pm - 4:00pm at Orford Jubilee Hub, Warrington, WA2 8HE.

Adults with Complex Needs (18-64) Event
Tuesday 18th June, 09:30 – 12:30pm at Orford Jubilee Hub, Warrington, WA2 8HE.

Target Audience
The target audience for the events is those who are responsible for the strategic development of services.

Attending the Event
The events are free to attend, however places are limited. Attendance is restricted to 1-2 people per organisation. To book your place, e-mail ConandCom@warrington.gov.uk stating which date/event you wish to attend. Please include ‘MPS Events’ in the e-mail subject.

Supporting Information
You will find attached on The Chest, a copy of the draft Market Position Statement and a copy of the recently published Health and Wellbeing Strategy – both of which set out the local strategic vision for Warrington.


Preparing for the Event
In order to prepare for the events, we would like you to attend the events having given consideration to the following questions;

1) What are the key challenges for your business now and over the next five years?

2) What are the key opportunities you would like to see developed within the health and social care market over the next five years?

3) What support would you require from Commissioners to help your business to grow and change in in line with the Strategic direction set out in the Market Position Statement?

We are currently finalising the agenda which will be distributed to attendees shortly.
