Description
The Borough Council of Calderdale is interested in commissioning a service that delivers an outcome focussed, high quality domestic abuse accommodation support service (Refuge) for adults and children across Calderdale. The Service will include resettlement support and will have a strong focus on supporting individuals to achieve and maximise their independence.

In particular the Service will provide:
• Prompt access to a responsive, personalised service that takes account of a whole range of health and wellbeing needs.
• A person centred support that is well-co-ordinated, without waste or duplication, to maintain maximum independence.
• Support through the provision of good quality, self- contained emergency access accommodation

We recently requested expressions of interest in relation to this service and are now requesting further detail in relation to the provision of accommodation. In order to meet the needs of the service, we would require the successful bidder to:

• Provide a building in Calderdale with between 15 and 18 self-contained units
• Ensure the building has a combination of bedsits, one-bed units and two-bed units
• Ensure the building includes a communal area and office space
• Provide up to 2 dispersed units also in Calderdale
• Meets a minimum condition survey rating of B: Satisfactory: Performing as intended but exhibiting minor deterioration
• Ideally ensure the provision is recently refurbished
