Description
This PIN is to engage with the market only, in preparation for a potential procurement process being undertaken and it is in the early stages of development. The scope of the potential procurement is to cover the full suite of design, construction and associated related services to deliver an exciting Office Space for Accent employees and key stakeholders to work from in Bradford.

Accent Housing Ltd has been providing high quality social housing for rent and sale for 50 years. Our ambition is to be recognised as a market leader for the quality of our homes and the effectiveness of our services. Further information regarding Accent may be accessed by viewing our website www.accentgroup.org

Accent is aware of the many benefits a well designed and constructed Office Space may deliver such as increased wellbeing, employee satisfaction, business values and increased productivity.

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors who specialise in the design and fitout of Office Spaces, by developing our new interior space to support more sustainable and efficient ways of working.

The Successful Contractor is expected to deliver all aspects of the works and services ideally by December 2023.

The office space is expected to be fully functional and complete, and ready to relocate Accent employees by January/February 2024 (subject to agreement).

Accent has a budget of up to £330,000 inclusive of VAT to deliver against this project. The budget is to include all design and build elements including the fitout, M&E elements and office furniture. For the avoidance of doubt, the provision of technical IT equipment is not included within that budget but the provision of network cabling, monitor arms and cable management systems integrated with the desks is.

Accent is seeking a single contractor to provide a one stop service to propose designs, supply, fit, install, project/contract manage and handover the site in accordance with all building and other necessary regulations its new office space based in Bradford City Centre, BD1.

Accent will only consider Contractors who meet the following minimum requirements:

Can your company deliver against Accent’s proposed deadline of the 31st December 2023 for full completion of all works and services and handover of the office premise back to Accent the Client. We are looking to partner with a principal contractor who can be flexible around that date.

Does your Company meet Accent’s financial requirements based on Dun and Bradstreet Failure Score (formerly called the Financial Stress Score) is = (Less than) the industry average for your contracting sector at the time of your expression of interest.

Should you meet these requirements – Accent will arrange to forward you a copy of the Scope of Works Package for your consideration.

Please submit your interest by 10:00am on the 9th June 2023 via Due North Proactis E-Sourcing Portal.

Accent reserves the right to choose its procurement route to market.
