Stockton Council wants to keep residents who are older/disabled or vulnerable living safely in their own homes for as long as possible. We currently commission a Home Improvement Agency the aim of which is to provide an integrated approach with a single point of contact to co-ordinate a range of services all designed to keep people living independently for as long as possible. Service users could include older people, people on low incomes, disabled people and other groups determined by local circumstances. Those who are eligible can access small repairs and maintenance, adaptations and advice and assistance including access to available financial assistance as appropriate.

The Council are currently reviewing their approach to this contract to understand likely market interest. We are therefore asking interested parties to complete and return the attached HIA Soft Market Testing form via the ProContract e-tendering system before 12 noon on Friday 3rd February 2017.
