Main contract details
The solution will be capable of the following as a minimum;
• Import of notifications and referrals from the Citizens’ Advice Consumer Advice Service containing sufficient details to inform the work of the Service.
• Maintain records of visits and other interventions carried out by Officers
• Maintain a comprehensive database linking businesses, interventions, complaints and enforcement activity.
• Support a library of documents such as letters, photographs and records of legal proceedings which can be attached to individual premise, visits or enforcement records.
• Allow direct export of data to the Food Standards Agency and DEFRA.
• Support processing and analysis of data recorded on the system to assist work allocation.
• Support management reporting and processing of data to inform statutory returns.
• The system must also enable the authority to better meet its legislative requirements, including the Data Protection Act 2018, including free text search for personal data and functionality to highlight information for disposal in line with the corporate retention schedule.
The soft market research exercise will help to:
• Identify the market’s ability to deliver business requirements and GCC’s obligations under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018;
• Assess market capacity and flexibility to deliver this procurement;
• Understand the attractiveness of this opportunity to work with GCC to potential suppliers;
• Advances in product that may be of interest when procuring;
• Assess the potential level of interest in bidding for this contract;
• Understand the likely costs associated with such a contract
