Context

Achieving for Children is seeking providers with excellent track records of delivering youth work to tender for a youth and community contract on behalf of AfC. This will be issued as one contract and we welcome providers who may consider collaborating as a consortium or through sub-contracting.

AfC are preparing to commission a single contract to operate and deliver youth provision with aspects of community work across Kingston and Richmond out of the following centres:
• Hampton Youth Project – TW13 3HY
• Dickerage Sports and Community Centre – KT1 3RU, and
• Kingsnympton Youth Centre – KT2 7RR

The aim is for a provider to deliver support to young people through youth work approaches during their transition to adulthood and independence from each centre and from Dickerage only to enable a range of interesting and creative community activities for community groups outside of the youth service target age range.

The contract will be issued for a three year period with a possible extension for one further year. The value of the contract is within the region of £175k to £195k per year starting 1 April 2017.

The event draft agenda:
1pm Arrivals and cold buffet lunch
1.30pm Welcomes and Introductions
Details on service provision, what we require, intended targets, hear feedback and provide timeframes
4pm Close
