DN592501 Telecare Services - Soft Market Testing

<p>Liverpool City Council (LCC) is engaging early with potential service providers of telecare and related services to inform the procurement of a short-term telecare contract. Following details of the information gained from our September 2021 market engagement exercise. We have established that the Tech Enabled Care markets are in a stage of significant flux as they switch from analogue to digital telephone lines. Our current Telecare service contract ends on the 31/03/22. We recognise there are now new business models often with equipment not specifically designed for the telecare market that is now being considered for tech enabled care purposes. We envisage our longer term contract will use these new technologies as part of the tech enabled care service we offer. However, the design and procurement of the new service will not be completed by April 2022. Therefore, we are looking for organisations interested in providing a service potentially from 01/04/22 to 31/03/23.
