Public Health Primary Care Services - Approved Supplier List

The Isle of Wight Council (“the Authority”) is establishing an approved supplier list for Public Health Primary Care Services. This will comprise of the following services:
Lot 1 - NHS Health Checks
Lot 2 - Long-acting reversible contraception (“LARC”)

These services will be delivered on the Isle of Wight.

Suppliers may apply to deliver one or both services.

The approved supplier list will commence on the 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031. There is the option to extend the approved supplier list at the sole discretion of the authority for a period or periods up to 24 months.

Suppliers wishing to be admitted on to the Public Health Primary Care Services Approved supplier List (ASL) must complete the application document and demonstrate that they meet all the minimum criteria listed. Any supplier that can demonstrate they meet the criteria for their chosen Lot(s) will be admitted to the Approved Supplier List for that Lot. Once approved, suppliers will be eligible to deliver the service and recharge the Authority for activity undertaken, in line with the agreed terms.

Suppliers can join the approved supplier list at any time during the life of the list; however, if a supplier wishes to be on the list from the ‘go live’ date of the 01 April 2026 then completed application documents must be submitted by the 02 March 2026. Application documents submitted after this date cannot be guaranteed to be assessed in time for inclusion on the approved supplier list from 1 April 2026. They will, however, be reviewed at the earliest opportunity upon receipt.

The award of any contract will be made under The Healthcare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 – Direct Award Process B.
