Description
Halton Borough Council is pleased to invite organisations to quote for the provision of a web based Wellbeing Magazine for the period of one year. (October 2017 – September 2018)

Halton Borough Council is seeking a provider to consolidate the work of recent years with a focus on the production of high quality, informative and easily accessible web based magazines. The provider will also ensure that capacity is built within the council to enable the transition to in-house provision in the future.

The aim of the Public Health and Wellbeing Web Magazine will be to promote positive health messages to secondary school and college students, mums to be and parents of young children, and wider populations to enable them to make healthy lifestyle choices both now and in the future.

The magazine will use ground breaking technology to provide an effective way of communicating with school students and pregnant women, families and other targeted audiences. By including interesting and relevant content from a variety of online publications (national and local press, websites such as the BBC as well as school and council websites) eye-catching online magazines will be produced that will entertain and inform students and enable residents of Halton to meet Health and Wellbeing and Children’s Trust priorities. Content will be focused on the subject of wellbeing and will take in health, careers, fashion, art, sport, technology: all subjects deemed to be suitable for lower and upper pupils in secondary schools today.

QUESTIONS relating to this document must be submitted via The Chest’s Messaging facility only and telephone calls will not be answered during the live process . Please refer to previously asked questions before asking a question as duplicate questions will not be answered. Both questions and answers will either be made public on The Chest or responded to directly to the originator depending on the content.
