Introduction
Swindon Borough Council invites you to contribute to preliminary market engagement in relation to providing responsive and scheduled bi-annual maintenance of its automatic doors within 53 properties (33 Sheltered Housing schemes & 20 Corporate Civic buildings) comprising of approx. 126 assets.
The council intends on tendering a service contract complying with BS EN 16005 which would also include repairing any faulty automatic doors as and when required, with an all-inclusive service. This all-inclusive service is proposed to include all call outs, fault investigations, repairs, labour, materials and travel related costs and will be required 24 hours, 7 days a week (including weekends and Bank Holidays).
Reported daytime call outs between 8-1pm Monday to Friday must have same day attendance. Reported calls between 1-5pm have until 12 noon the following day (including weekends and Bank holidays) First time fix is expected where possible.
Any reported fault between 8am-5pm to the main entrance auto door to a Sheltered Housing scheme must be attended same day. (including weekends and bank holidays) First time fix expected where possible.
The purpose of this preliminary market engagement is to gain market insight into the following aspects of the project: -

To participate in the Preliminary Market Engagement Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the PME documents.

Responses are required to be submitted no later than 22nd July 2025, 15:00 hrs UK Local time via ProContract tender portal - https://www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk/
