Tresillian is a 0-5 childcare nursery operated by DCC and based in a DCC building in Kingsbridge. Tresillian is currently the only all year round full daycare in the area. There are currently 69 children on roll and there is a waiting list. DCC wish to disinvest in the service and procure a provider to deliver the service. DCC are offering an opportunity to transfer the management of Tresillian Early Years to a Provider. Tresillian Early Years is being offered with a long lease which will be below the market rate. The building will shortly be undergoing improvement works to ensure that it is fit for purpose which will hopefully be completed in time for the transfer. There is no contractual funding associated with the procurement. However government funding is passported through the Local Authority to all Ofsted registered childcare providers for 2, 3 and 4 year old children and the new Provider will access funding through this route
