Lessons Learnt and Future Planning Event

Kent County Council will host this event on 4 July 2019 in Ashford, Kent.

There will be two identical sessions across the day, focused on understanding the current situation across the service areas, looking at what has been learned and identifying how we can apply these lessons to the development of future service provision.

The morning session will be arrival at 09:00 to start at 09:30, with a planned finish of 12:30. The afternoon session will be arrival at 13:00 for a 13:30 start with a planned finish at 16:30. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the sessions. Delegates will only be permitted to attend either the morning or afternoon session.

As the demand for this event is anticipated to be high, please click on 'Express an Interest in this opportunity' by noon on Wednesday 26th June 2019 to register your interest in this event.

As the event covers both Residential and Supported Living services, we need to ensure there is an equitable mix of participants at each session from both service areas, so that the maximum potential is gained from the planned table exercises on the day. To enable us to ensure this balance of participants, please also email communitysupport@kent.gov.uk, confirming which session would be your preference; morning, afternoon or either if you are flexible. Please also confirm the number of attendees you plan to send, and their names.

Unfortunately, due to capacity and demand, we will have to restrict each organisation to having a maximum of two delegates at the event. We appreciate that some organisations will deliver both Residential and Supported Living services; therefore please ensure that attendees can represent both services. We may not be able to accommodate all requests to attend.

Places are strictly limited and as such please ensure you have received confirmation of your place to avoid disappointment on the day. Further details on the event will be sent to attendees ahead of the day.

Thank you for your support and participation in this event; this is an exciting opportunity to co-design the future model of Residential and Supported Living provision in Kent.
