Whitmore Reans Children’s Centre: Extension and Alterations

External: The external works consist of extension to South West Corner of existing building; It will be traditional construction methods incorporating use of existing walls. It is intended that this will commence at the start of the 12 week contract period.

Internal: It is essential that the Children’s Centre and Nursery can operate normally during the alterations. It is planned therefore to start on:

Stage 1. First Floor Converting toilets to staff room.
Stage 2. First Floor remaining alteration works.
Stage 3. Entrance screen, Main Reception, Nursery reception, Nursery office. Out of hours working or week end working required to maintain service.

The Contract: JCT Intermediate Building Contract, 2011 Edition,
issued September 2011 incorporating Amendment 1 issued
March 2015 and Tenderers are deemed to be in possession of a copy of this form.

It should be noted it is the Council's intention that this requirement will be awarded to a single supplier who will be responsible for the delivery of the entire works.
