Market Engagement event to shape carers services in Gloucestershire.

This is not a tender opportunity.

Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group are re-commissioning support for carers in the county. A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support (Carers Trust).

We are in the process of extensive engagement with carers across the county, and would like to invite prospective providers to a market engagement event to find out more about the process and timeline and to help us shape what future support for carers in Gloucestershire could look like. A follow up market engagement event will be held in May to present our suggestions following this engagement process.

The event is to discuss young carer, parent carer and adult carer services.

The closing date for both surveys is 22nd April 2018. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated and will help inform the recommissioning of services and support for carers. New contracts will be in place from 1st April 2019.
