(NU/1713) Thermal Response Testing Services

<p>The purpose of this contract is to carry out three thermal response tests at the already drilled and constructed Newcastle deep geothermal well for the purposes of research, including: 1. Preparation of the site, including the erecting of site boundary fencing 2. The preliminary inspection of a deep (~1650 mbgl) geothermal borehole to include, but not limited to a. Measurement of static water level, b. Fluid temperature and conductivity measurements, c. Minimum of 3 depth-located water samples 3. Preparation of the site and borehole, specifically the borehole head works to enable the installation of coaxial pipe configuration within borehole and subsequent controlled pumping 4. Installation of pipework to establish a closed loop circulatory system to the maximum operationally depth feasible within the borehole 5. Thermal response testing to include minimum of three 96 hour thermal response tests to include continuous downhole temperature monitoring for the duration of the tests, using, for example through use of fibre optic deployed through the tubing. 6. Retrieval of coaxial pipe configuration 7. Demobilisation of site</p>
