Description
Dorset County Council is expanding the information we provide on alternative provision by establishing an Alternative Provision Framework. We are developing a competitive process in order to establish a framework list of value for money, quality assured providers.

The aim is that there will be a variety of Alternative Provision programmes/activities/services supporting children and young people which can be accessed by Dorset County Council and schools, specialist schools and academies in Dorset.

We are interested in hearing from organisations that either have new innovative ideas about services for children and/or young people, and/or experience and expertise in providing any of the above services.

To get this framework in place a project group have developed a competitive process for organisations who provide a diverse range of alternative provision services for children and young people.

To comply with procurement regulations Dorset County Council plan to be inviting tenders this May for services within the main service categories, which are currently shown below but maybe subject to some amendment as we go forward:
* Engagement & Reengagement
* Therapeutic & Counselling
* Vocational Provision & Employability
* Teaching
