Housing Communal Window Cleaning Services

<p dir="ltr">The Royal Borough of Kingston Council (RBK) invite quotations via an Open Competitive Procedure to formally appoint a suitably skilled and experienced Contractor in accordance with the Specification contained as part of the Request for Quotation (RFQ pack), for the provision of high quality window cleaning services for communal glazed areas located within the Council's Housing Estates.&nbsp;</p>
<p dir="ltr">The proposed duration of the Contract will initially be three years. This contract has the ability to extend for a further twelve months at a time up to a maximum term of 4 years (3+1 year), subject to the Council’s discretion. &nbsp;</p>
<p dir="ltr">The outcome is to maintain the Health &amp; Wellbeing of the housing community and the maintenance of Councils housing estates.&nbsp; In addition to supporting the needs of the local community, it is paramount that the Contractor is highly professional and capable of ensuring services delivered are inclusive and in line with the <a href="https://www.kingston.gov.uk/downloads/file/1005/inclusive-kingston-full-strategy">Council’s Equality Diversity and Inclusion strategy</a>, and the <a href="https://www.kingston.gov.uk/downloads/file/1696/housing-and-landlord-resident-engagement-strategy">Council’s Engagement Strategy.</a></p>
<p dir="ltr">The Council declared a Climate Emergency during 2019 and is committed to an objective of becoming Carbon Neutral by 2038, therefore as a Council is to consider the following:</p>

<p dir="ltr">- Generating and harnessing energy</p>
<p dir="ltr">- Sustainable transport and travel</p>
<p dir="ltr">- Air quality improvements</p>
<p dir="ltr">- Biodiversity and green spaces</p>
<p dir="ltr">- Waste management, recycling and the circular economy.&nbsp;</p>
