Scope:
Ashford Borough Council (ABC) is looking to appoint a security service provider with a proven track record to carry out various duties in a diligent and timely manner upholding the professional reputation of the council. Duties are Monday to Sunday and will include but are not limited to: gate opening/closing at various council properties including a multi-storey car park, open car parks, cemeteries and gardens, provision of town centre gatekeeper and release of locked-in vehicles. Multiple locations may require attendance at any one time and therefore it is essential that resources permit this activity.
Tenders are invited for an initial contract period of 3 years with the possibility of extending by 1 year with a possible extension of a further 1 year making a total of 5 years.

This project is also subject to EU procurement and had been advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union OJEU

Tender Evaluation
Your tender will be assessed using the following weightings; Price 70% : Quality 30%.

The Quality aspect of your bid will be evaluated from the responses to the questions in the Suitability Assessment Questionnaire, and the Project Specific Questions A which are Pass/Fail. A tender may not be accepted if a Fail is scored. Project Specific Questions B are weighted, and tenderers will have to achieve a score of 60% or more for their tender to be considered further.

Contract Award
The contract will be awarded to the supplier who submits the Most Economically Advantageous tender.
