<p><strong>Introduction</strong></p>
<p>Wokingham Borough council has received funding under the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund to deliver Multiply, a three-year initiative targeted at improving the functional numeracy skills of adults across the borough.</p>
<p>Multiply funding will be used to help adults improve their ability to understand and use maths in daily life, home and work. Whether that be improving household finances, helping children with homework making more sense of facts in the media or improving numeracy skills specific to a line of work. </p>

<p><strong>Who Is Multiply aimed at?</strong></p>
<p>Multiply is aimed at adults over the age of 19 who do not have a GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent in maths.</p>
<p><strong>What can Multiply Funding support?</strong></p>
<p>Multiply funding can support a range of provision from small, confidence building and engagement activities, to full maths qualifications.</p>
<p>Providers are encouraged to be innovative and work collaboratively with partners to develop bespoke programmes in terms of content, delivery times, method of deliver (face to face / online) and additional support needs which meet learner needs</p>
<p>All courses must be free of charge to learners and delivered in line with Ofsted Education Inspection Framework <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/education-inspection-framework">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/education-inspection-framework</a></p>
