Description
<p>Fareham Borough Council will shortly be going out to tender for its Corporate Cleaning Contract. We have chosen to advertise using the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).</p>
<p>The DPS is open to new suppliers, so if you are interested in bidding for this contract, please go to <a href="https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/organisation/register" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/organisation/register </a>to register.</p>

<p>In order for you to be registered as a supplier on the DPS in time for this tender, we would suggest that you register with CCS by <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">no later than 31<sup>st</sup> July 2022</span></strong>. CCS has a 15 day turnaround on completed applications to its DPS.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>As an indication, the likely scope (which will be confirmed in the tender documents) is</strong>:</p>
<p>The Council's requirement is that the diverse cleaning arrangements are incorporated into one corporate wide contract under this common specification with all services managed by a single Service Provider.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The specified work will be carried out (in total) by the managing Service Provider who can denote named and approved sub-contractors for specific cleaning elements.</p>

<p>The Council will have a primary single point of contact with the managing Service Provider for ALL services provided under this new contract.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Housing Establishments: (sixty-five separate sheltered &amp; non-sheltered places of multiple occupancy)</li>
<li>Council Depot: (toilets, offices &amp; associated rooms)</li>
<li>Public Conveniences: (fourteen in total)</li>
<li>Street Operatives Rest Rooms (three in total)</li>
<li>Pavilions: (seven in total) plus a Cemetery Chapel</li>
<li>Car Parks: (toilets, offices &amp; associated rooms along with lifts, stairwells, lobbies &amp; ticket machines)</li>
<li>Town Centre Shopping Area: (specialist street washing &amp; gum removal)</li>
<li>Public Notice Boards (forty three in total)</li>
<li>Welcome Notice Boards to outdoor recreation sites (nineteen in total)</li>
<li>Civic Offices (window cleaning and other duties)</li>
<li>Solent Airport (control tower and amenity buildings)</li>
<li>Portchester Crematorium (public areas and office)</li>
<li>Various Sites: (ad-hoc requirement for single clean-up operations by other Council departments e.g., Environmental Health or Housing)</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Council is constantly reviewing services to improve efficiency and effectiveness and the Service Provider is expected to provide any assistance that is requested of them to enable this to be carried out. Any resulting recommendations or potential improvements noted by the Service Provider and supported by the Council or identified by the Council, are to be implemented and adhered to. The Council may amend the number of establishments and alter frequency of cleaning without affecting the cleaning specification.</p>
