Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of construction of the new storm and foul drainage connections to the first building coming forward on the Kimmerfields Development site, Swindon.

Project Description
Swindon Borough Council is moving forward with the development of the town centre, brownfield, development site, Kimmerfields, in partnership with other stakeholders and landowners. As part of this development, Swindon Borough Council are looking to procure the new storm and foul drainage connections to the first building coming forward.

A new office block has been planned and approved within the first parcel of land to be developed within the Kimmerfields site. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the regeneration of the town centre. The office block construction is due to start in summer of 2020, and Swindon Borough Council will be facilitating the storm and foul connections to this building, working closely with the project management team and construction contractor of the office block.

Contract Period
The initial contract term will be for 7 weeks as stated in the RFQ documents.

Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Josephine Prunty / Lynsey Turner at hppd@swindon.gov.uk by 12th May 2020, 1200 hrs noon UK Local time.
The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded as attachments on the project webpage attachments section. Therefore it is the Contractor’s responsibility to check the site regularly for updates to clarifications, as you will not be advised when updates have been made.

Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 20th May 2020, 12:00 hrs noon UK Local time by e-mail to Josephine Prunty / Lynsey Turner at hppd@swindon.gov.uk.
