Short Break Support Services for Disabled Children - Meet the Buyer Event on 28th March 2018
Main contract details
Salford City Council is commissioning Short Break Support Services for disabled children.
The contract will include one to one support for disabled children, both in the child’s home and accessing community activities. There is also an option to provide support for children in small groups.
To find out more about this important opportunity and to support the application process, the council have organised a ‘Meet the Buyer’ session for interested providers. The briefing will be used to outline the specific requirements, the application process and the Short Break Support Services model. The session will be taking place on:
Wednesday 28th March 2018 at 12pm.
The session will take in the Salford Suite, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5AW and will last for approximately one hour. If you would like to attend, please email mary.davis@salford.gov.uk with your name, organisation and number of attendees you wish to bring.
It is expected that the opportunity will be advertised around Friday 13th April 2018 (the Council reserves the right to change this date if necessary). Providers that are interested in applying for this contract can complete the application documents which will be available via the Chest (the Council’s procurement portal). The opportunity will be found by searching ‘Current Opportunities’ on The Chest (www.the-chest.org.uk) and filter by ‘Salford City Council’ opportunities.
Providers will be required to demonstrate how they meet the standards outlined in the specification, as well as propose an offer of how they will meet the requirement.
