Redcar & Cleveland are seeking Consultation with providers about the provision of the following types of support to direct payment recipients:
• Payment of invoices, wages etc.
• Payroll services
• Maintenance of appropriate financial records
• Provision of monitoring information to the Council
• Repayment of unspent funds
• Advice in relation to financial responsibilities as an employer (PAYE, HMRC and related matters)
• Advice in relation to legal responsibilities as an employer
• Support to ensure that the recipient has appropriate service agreements in place with providers
• Information and advice to ensure the direct payment recipient complies with the Direct Payment Agreement
• Liaise with practitioners where appropriate regarding the management of the direct payment.
It is proposed that the framework agreement is for 3 years with the option to extend for 2 further 12 months periods
The Contract start date is anticipated to be April 2017.
