Main contract details
EVENT DETAILS - THIS WILL BE AN ONLINE VIRTUAL MICROSOFT TEAMS EVENT - held on Tuesday 10th September. 10am – 12:00noon.
Event will be run by Programme Director and Wiltshire Council Section 151 Officer
After the closing date of this advert, a separate message will be sent to any bidders who have expressed an interest containing the specifics for the online teams event meeting.
Wiltshire Council would like to invite interested providers to a virtual market engagement event to address the work needed to make changes to the way Wiltshire Council pays providers of adult social care in Wiltshire. The programme of work consists of ten discrete projects. Three of those projects will be delivered using internal Council resources.
The Council wish to engage with the market on the remaining seven projects which will be the focus of this engagement event. The programme brings together all those pieces of work and sequences them so that we achieve the best impact with the minimum disruption.
Projects in Scope – Overview
• Project 2 – Customer Account Management and Data Cleansing
Ensure data already held in the systems is accurate as possible ahead of change work as well as during and after.
• Project 3 – implement the ContrOCC provider portal
Introduce an auditable, governable interface between the council and providers that attaches queries to customers’ cases.
• Project 4 - Complete the Transition from Net to Gross
Running both net and gross payments to providers creates delay and can add to the effort required to run the process and report from it.
• Project 6 - Review and Redesign the End-To-End Process
Making the P2P process lean will make it more streamlined for all aspects of the process. We should take the opportunity to ensure this happens. Redesign should be undertaken with system configuration and data flows in mind.
• Project 7 - Review the configuration of the Liquid Logic LAS and ContrOCC modules.
The system needs to be more useable, more intuitive and contain enough flexibility to accommodate practice as it is delivered in the real world.
• Project 8 - Introduce Targeted Management Information and Business Intelligence Specific to the P2P Process
Identify and improve awareness of bottlenecks and pinch points in the process, improve accountability across the end-to-end process and pave the way for greater accountability and the eventual introduction of performance management for the process.
• Project 10 - Re-Training and Ongoing Training
During and following the change process appropriate training will need to be in place.
