Description
North Somerset Council would like to invite you to quote for their Maintenance Contract of a three-year period with optional extensions of 1- year increments of up to two years covering our CCTV Systems starting from 1st August 2023.

The system compromises of approximately 300 cameras including cameras within North Somerset Council assets.

Maintenance of the CCTV Control Room in Weston Town Hall and backup Control Room at the Tropicana. Including Video Walls, Recorders, VMS software, Computers and Consoles.

Fibre network of approximately 4 miles and various types of transmission equipment at different locations with main transmission equipment at Weston Town Hall and further equipment at Weston College (Knightstone Campus) and Alexandra House (Bournville). Transmission types include Fibre, Wi-Fi and 3G/4G/5G.

• 30 Tropicana Cameras and DVR’s
• Approximately 4 miles of fibre network

• Joystick Consoles
• Control Room transmission and recording equipment
• Deployable CCTV system currently 18 Cameras
• Video Management System
• Camera cleaning of Public Space Cameras Bi-Yearly

The above information is given in order to provide an ‘overview’ of the CCTV system and its associated infrastructure the list above is not exhaustive.

We are looking to commission a contractor for 30 hours per month, we would expect 26 of those hours to be planned maintenance with the remaining 4 hours banked for emergency work outside of the programme.

This contract will also include cleaning on a bi-yearly basis allowing 20 hours (x2 = 40 per annum)

The contract may also include additional expansions to its existing CCTV infrastructure during the duration of the contract.

The contractor must be compliant with relevant legislations and qualifications to carry out required work, including The New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

We require pricing for the above fixed hours as well as an hourly rate for any emergency work outside of these fixed hours.

We require a basic pricing schedule of parts, including but not limited to, prices of PTZ cameras, Camera columns, Cabs and soft & hard digs.
(It must be noted that any prices in the pricing schedule for parts will NOT be included in any evaluation process for the bid and are offered on an Information Only Basis
