Framework for the construction of new commercial and residential housing developments, refurbishment...

Ashford Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest (via completion and submission of a PQQ) from suitably qualified suppliers to be included on a Framework to support future projects.

The Framework has been divided into Lots.

LOT 1: Large scale commercial development, refurbishment and regeneration Estimated Cost: up to £5,000,000 to £19,000,000
Provision of new commercial property and refurbishment of existing units which may include, but are not limited to, office accommodation, retail units, urban regeneration and development – up to 8 companies

LOT 2: Small scale commercial development, refurbishment and regeneration Estimated Cost: up to £100,000 to £5,000,000

Provision of new commercial property and refurbishment of existing units which may include, but are not limited to retail units, including regeneration and fit out, town centre development, office accommodation regeneration and fit out, conversion of office to residential, conversion of retail to office – up to 8 companies

LOT 3: Industrial/Leisure Estimated Cost: up to £400,000 to £10,000,000
Provision of new industrial units and leisure facilities, and refurbishment of existing property, including but not limited to, construction of industrial sheds, construction of start-up units, construction of community centres/facilities, refurbishment of leisure facilities – up to 8 companies

LOT 4: Large scale residential development including Sheltered Accommodation Estimated Cost: up to £4,104,394 to £15,000,000
Provision of 46 units within a sheltered accommodation complex to be delivered between 2016 and 2020. Provision of additional units may also be required – up to 8 companies

LOT 5: Small scale residential development Estimated Cost: up to £500,000 to £4,104,394
Provision of 60 units of general needs housing to be delivered between 2016 and 2010. Provision of additional units may also be required. The programme may include both new build and remodelling existing sheltered housing units – up to 8 companies


Expressions of Interest: Suppliers are asked to express their interest via completion and submission of a PQQ, response to the Lot specific questions and PQQ declaration. These is to be returned by e:mail to procurement@ashford.gov.uk by 14:30hrs on 8th April 2016.

2) Please register your interest through the South East Business Portal - we will use these registration details to inform you of any amendments, or items of clarification during the Tender process. However, no further clarification, etc. will be issued later than 12:00hrs 1st April 2016
3) Please be aware that you need to download the documents attached to this advert and make your submission by the due date. Your registration of interest will NOT be used to issue you the PQQ
4) When submitting your answers for the Lot Specific Questions clearly stage the number of the question you are answering, and keep to the maximum page format required.
5) When submitting your PQQ etc. please keep additional marketing material to a minimum. The e:mail should not exceed 6Mb in size
6) The "Last date for Expressing Interest" detailed at the beginning of this notice, is the last date for submitting your PQQ
7) This project is also subject to an OJEU Contract Notice which has been published on www.mytenders.org.
